Yes, I have an addiction
These are my Potter Books
I just took a pic of my HP books for the DET Alumni fav book challenge. I didn't realize quite how many I had until I piled them up.
I have 3 sets, plus the audio books (only 2 of the 7 pictured).
I have my 'reading set'
My 'no touchy set'. These are all first editions. The last 4 are 1st edition/1st printings. (realized I'm still missing Half Blood Prince, so I *just* ordered it! LOL! I don't have 3 editions of Deathly Hallows either. can't decide if I NEED the 2nd edition. All my other covers (reading sets) are framed. So I thought I needed pristine covers. That's where the idea of the No Touchy edition set was born. They used to be in Tate's room, but after we moved, he went with another theme, so now they are in the attic! poor things. LOLOL!).
The last set is my British Editions. All purchased off Ebay (and a mint paid in shipping alone!) with the exception of Deathly Hallows which lovely Lauren sent me
So, yes, I'm a geek. Lets not talk about it...

YAY! Freebie!!!
So, we are in the midst of a BIG server upgrade on DSP. Not fun, but it'll be worth it in the end. With this and my modem blowing I feel so out of touch!

Hi Hi!
Hey all..
just a few quick notes.. not an exciting day, but a busy one. Took the child to a friends to play, then came home and fixed supper for my inlaws and grandmother in law. After supper MIL and the child went swimming and she just left. Kitchen is cleaned up tho! yay! and now am off to watch "The Eye" with the DH. Will have to review it later along with what the heck ever else it was I watched the other day... now what was that? OMG. why can't I remember???? That's going to bug the heck outta me now!
Ok, must dash.. Featured Freeber will be posted tonight!

Here i am! YAY! My modem showed up a day early (yesterday) via Santa Claus (aka UPS).
Much fiddling and fussing (and tech support) later, i made it online. However the router won't work, so the other two humans in the house aren't as pleased as i!

go BOOM!
that's what my modem did Thursday. Power surge, and blamo. No net for Tina. Sad. sad. sad.
I'm in the "holding and waiting" pattern at the mo. New modem should arrive on Tuesday. SHOULD being the operative word. Lets hope.
It's amazing the things I can accomplish without the (lovely, pretty, shiny) distraction of the internet!
I've... cleaned my house, done laundry, had a friend over for the child, showed my SIL the basics of digi scrap, went to the movies, went to my ILs for supper (they have scary, scary, slow speed dial up. I tried to post, but it caused me pain. Having flashbacks. Don't make me go there again!), gone to church, and hey, created 4 new pages kits and an add on pack!
Now, if only i had a way to upload those to the store. Yeah, that'd be good.
Oh, I suppose I should mention that I don't have super modem powers and am posting via a blown one. No, sadly, I am at my parents house (not sad I am here, sad that i have to post from here. Of course they aren't home. Lets see... where do they hide the cash????). They, unlike my inlaws, have wonderful speediness. Dial up should be outlawed. No... seriously.
Hopefully, I'll be back "home" (as in #1 Internet Lane, World Wide Web) on Tuesday. If you don't hear from me soon, alert the authorities. I may have gone off the deep end, wandered aimlessly down the road humming show tunes and drooling. The physc ward awaits me.... pretty blue pills.... what's an inter-net?

Whole stole The Mole?
Settled down tonight at 10pm like every Monday this summer to watch my favorite show on this time of year, The Mole.
Unlike most reality shows, which I admit to watching several of, this one is not totally mindless. I'm still not sure who the darn Mole is!
Tonight tho? No Mole? No Mole!!!!!!!!! How rude. The Bachelorette instead. Oh joy. I just felt my IQ plummet.
Movie Review: Hancock
HancockRunning Time: 92 mins
Rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and language.
Anyone who knows me, knows I loves me some Will Smith!
That said, this movie, while entertaining in parts, seemed to lack the normal BANG of Will's (yes, we are on first name basis, jealous much?) normal blockbusters.
Now, I'm not saying it won't make millions, oh, wait, it already has! 62.6 Million in its first week of release.
It starts out with a very reluctant superhero (Will) , who saves the life of a PR rep (Jason Bateman) who is determined to straighten Hancock out. A very interesting turn takes place about 3/4 of the way through the movie. From there it then goes from light, fun, and fluffy (well, if that many dirty words can still fall into the "fluffy" category. umm..... maybe I should rethink my use of "fluffy") to trying to be serious drama.
Charlize Theron also stars as Bateman's wife.
It was tolerable. Quite fun in parts. I liked it. It wasn't going to climb up my fav movies chart anytime soon, but it was really ok. Sadly, that is all. "Really OK". I suppose I just expected more.
But... I loves me some Will Smith you know...
